A Creative Excersice

My room.

A creative exercise with my beloved large format film camera.

Taken during quarantine, about five months ago.

I photograph my room, the house I live in, quite often. During those strange times, that going outside was barely an option, I wanted to do something different, to see my usual surroundings in another way.

It took some time between taking the image, developing it, scanning it, and posting in. But to me, this is the beauty of this process, that it is not immediate, quite the contrary actually. Not celebrating the here and now, but the meditation, contemplation that comes later.
